Some more settings should be configured before beginning to manage services. In this section, Managing Captions, General Plugin Settings and Month Creation are explained.
General Plugin Settings
General Settings menu is used to enable plugins â€“ Billing, Payroll and Leave.
To enable Plugins for Billing and Payroll, in the Settings menu, click Settings.
On the page that opens, to enable Payroll, select Payroll by checking the box.
You can choose to enable 3 different billing methods as per your requirement.
No Billing â€“ Choose this option if you do not want to use billing functionalities through GST Billing Plugin.
Complete Billing â€“ Choose this option if you want to use billing functionalities through GST Billing Plugin.
Import From Other Data Source â€“ Choose this option if you do not want to import billing data from another billing source.
Based on the operations done at different levels, choose User Level or Role Level.
Click Save to enable the plugin and other settings. Once the plugin is enabled, the functionalities and menus, sub menus and features related to Billing, Payroll and Leave will be available for use.
Before the creation of Services Master and adding activities, Month Creation is required.
To create month, in Service/Work menu, click Month.
In the page that appears, select the Month and enter the Year, and Save.
The captions â€˜Service' and â€˜Activity' can be changed to suit the needs of your organisation. To change the captions, in Settings, click Manage Captions.
In the page that opens, enter the User Captions that you want to change to refer to Service and Activity. Click Save. Once this is done, all the references for â€˜Service' and â€˜ Activity' will be done using the new caption you have set here.
